The application window closed at 11:59pm on Tuesday November 23rd, 2010.  The RET Vendor List Application Website will no longer accept new registrants to the application process or application submissions at this time.

Note:  Depending on the products and/or services a vendor intends to offer, and a vendor’s current standing with respect to the RET Vendor List qualification criteria, gathering and submitting the information necessary to qualify for the RET Vendor List may take anywhere from 3 hours to 3 weeks.

Application Process for Existing RET Vendors

RET Vendors who qualified for the RET Vendor List during the first application window and are still on the RET Vendor List to date do not need to re-register in order to add products or services to their existing product/service offering.  Please submit a request using the My RET Vendor Messaging Center and the RET Vendor List Team will provide you with the guidance needed to qualify your company with respect to that product or service. 

Overview

This website has been created to enable suppliers and installers of renewable energy technologies to apply to be on a vendor list. This list will be used by Ontario school boards and social housing providers to install $120 million of renewable energy technologies under a Government of Ontario renewable energy technologies funding initiative.

Service providers and suppliers of five renewable energy technologies are invited to complete an application. These technologies are:

• solar photovoltaic
• solar air
• solar water
• geothermal
• small wind.

Ontario school boards and social housing providers receiving government funding will use the vendor list to find suppliers and installers for their renewable energy projects. The $120 million in funds will be available commencing April 2010 and the funds must be committed by March 31, 2011.

The funding initiative is in support of the policy intent of the Green Energy Act, 2009, by boosting investment in renewable energy projects and encouraging the creation of job opportunities in Ontario.
